  A second American stock, representative of the Carbeth lords, descends from George of Munster, is located at Louisville, Ky., and was, in 1857, represented by two brothers, George and Andrew; while from Thomas of Donegal was descended the late President of the United States, James Buchanan; a namesake, James Buchanan, recently British Consul at the port of New York, was descended from John of Tyrone.
